Facilities
We renovated our Gemerka cottage in 2019, but we wanted to keep some original bits which give it traditional feel.
The cottage is ideal for families with children, hikers or skiers.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms; the master bedroom is on the first floor and has a queen sized bed and fold out sofa with 2 beds. Besides that,
we have 2 smaller bedrooms, both with 2 single beds.
There's a modern bathroom with toilet and fully equipped kitchen
on the ground floor. In the kitchen you can find a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and freezer.
In the living room you can watch TV with a DVD player and Netflix. Here you can also find a traditional log fire and big dining area.
The outside sitting area in front of the cottage includes a fire pit where you can barbecue or use the cauldron to make a stew or goulash.

How to find us
Our GPS coordinates are 49.093116, 20.058801.
The turn to Lieskovec is around 2 km on the highway from the direction of Liptovský Mikuláš, on the road 18 (exit at Važec). The exit from the other side (Košice or Poprad) is at Mengusovce.
If you come by train from Poprad and Žilina, you can get straight to the Štrba railway station. From here, you can get to our cabin by foot (22 minutes) or use the cable car to the Tatranský Lieskovec stop, which takes around 10 minutes.
